Stockton Heath Hospital

Stockton Heath hospital in Cheshire like all hospitals in the UK provides free services on the NHS (founded in 1948). Between them they have been criticised for leaving swabs in patients, infection control, nursing failures in dealing with patients nutritional and medication needs, out of hours staffing levels, filling out death certificates incorrectly, poor communication between staff and patients, poor governance, multiple bed moving, patients suffering with bed sores, long A&E waits, poor maintenance of operating theatres, delayed discharges, inappropriate referrals, low percentage of high skilled nurses on wards, suboptimal care, patients left on unmonitored trolleys for excessive periods and many more besides.
